EMURGO Labs, a full-stack innovation agency with deep blockchain expertise and a contributor to the Cardano ecosystem, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with W3i Software, a US-based technology company specializing in secure and compliant blockchain software solutions.
This agreement follows EMURGO Labs’ recent partnership with Pravica to integrate Cardano native stablecoins. Building on that momentum, EMURGO Labs and W3i will collaborate to advance the adoption and real-world use of USDM, a Cardano-native stablecoin, starting with the UAE–Egypt remittance corridor.
Under this MoU, both parties will explore blockchain-powered solutions that enable secure, transparent, and compliant cross-border transactions. The collaboration will also focus on developing infrastructure for tokenized funds, real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, and wallet integrations, aimed at expanding stablecoin accessibility and utility across partner ecosystems.
EMURGO Labs will provide software development, technical implementation, and go-to-market support to W3i, including the design and delivery of proof-of-concept pilots and production-ready systems related to USDM-based remittance use cases.
“Our collaboration with W3i reflects the next stage in delivering stablecoin-driven financial innovation across key regional corridors. By focusing on remittance use cases powered by USDM, we aim to build secure, efficient, and transparent payment rails that bridge economies like the UAE and Egypt. Combining W3i’s infrastructure expertise with EMURGO Labs’ technical and market capabilities sets the foundation for scalable, interoperable, and compliant financial solutions built on Web3 technology,” commented Ahmed M. Amer, CEO of EMURGO Labs.
“Partnering with EMURGO Labs is a meaningful step in advancing blockchain adoption through practical and secure implementations. This collaboration underscores our shared commitment to building next-generation financial solutions that merge stability, transparency, and accessibility for users worldwide,” said Jillian Plomin, CEO of W3i Software.
